Frequently Asked Questions How do I transfer the cremains into the urn? Normally, when you receive the ashes, or cremains, from the funeral home or crematory they will be inside a
plastic bag. Occasionally, the bag itself will be in a corrugated or plastic container. Simply remove the bag from
the temporary container and place it in the urn. We donÕt suggest pouring the cremains directly into the urn. In
the event of the urn being damaged, it reduces the chances losing some of the cremains. It is an added layer of
protection. Many funeral directors or crematory personnel would be more than willing to transfer the cremains
free of charge.
