Most urns are considered "bottom loaders" meaning that they can be accessed on the bottom of the urn. Usually, there are several screws on the bottom of the urn that can be removed for access. Also, some have threaded plugs made from metal or hard plastic that can be unscrewed. Many vase or round urns have threaded lids on top. You may also seal the urn using a common silicone adhesive around the lip of the lid.
